

In the northern part of the capital of the Republic of Moldova, at a distance of only 3 kilometers, is located the village of Stauceni, which consists of the village of Stauceni and the village of Goianul Nou. On the territory of the commune, there are about 600 pupils with the “Dragos Voda” High School, the Health Center, the Salcioara Kindergarten, the Catholic Church, the Musical School, the Sports School, the Olimp Sports Stadium, 45 dwelling blocks and 2500 Private houses. The village of Stauceni is twinned with the locality Stauceni in Boto ani county, Romania and Stauceni village, district of Hotin, the region of Cernau i, Ukraine, with the town of Siedlec, Poland. The main concern of the Mayor of Stauceni, Mr. Valentin Sîtnic, and the entire specialized apparatus of the City Hall of Stauceni commune, in agreement with the Local Council of Stauceni commune, consisting of 17 elected councilors, is the e cient management of the commune, of the local budget and last, but not least, the welfare of citizens in Stauceni.
The local public administration unit consists of the Secretary of the Local Council, accountant, cadastral specialist, land specialist, public procurement specialist, social workers specialist, architect.
The population of Stauceni and Goianul Nou village is currently about 10,000 inhabitants.
